Make great Web graphics
WebPaint is an impressive Windows 95 graphics program geared toward the creation, viewing, and manipulation of art for Web pages. If you've worked with other graphics programs, you shouldn't have too much trouble figuring this one out. WebPaint combines a friendly, logical user interface with fairly sophisticated eraser, brush, masking, text, and drawing tools to help you design both static and animated images. Of particular note are the 3D button tool and anti-aliased text effects. WebPaint opens and saves .bmp, .tif, .gif, .tga, .pcx, .png, and .jpg formats and lets you import .wmf graphics. All images are dithered to the same 256-color palette, which will help you to avoid ugly palette clashes. If you don't mind settling for a 256-color output cap, WebPaint should even be considered for non-Web bitmap editing. This is a minor update with unspecified changes.
